Urology Observation

Problem:Due to inflexibility of resectoscope surgeon has to often stand up to re-grab, twist arm and wrist to get better access.

NEED Statement: Insert a translation adapter which works in the “door handle range”(30-150 degrees)

Beneficiary: Surgeons working with AR or VR

Description:

• Create a firm connection between resection loop and sensor
• The connection of the electrode is freely and adjustably determined on the desired rotation
• The components is locked at any angle to prevent the resection instruments sliding away from the pulling movement

Result:

• No twisting of wrist for surgeon
• More comfort for surgeon during surgery ensures better accuracy and precision
